INI Hydraulic Shipped Out Hydraulic Equipments for the Construction of the Çanakkale 1915 Bridge

The Çanakkale 1915 Bridge (Turkish: Çanakkale 1915 Köprüsü), also known as the Dardanelles Bridge (Turkish: Çanakkale Boğaz Köprüsü), is a suspension bridge being constructed in the Çanakkale in northwestern Turkey. Situated just south of the towns of Lapseki and Gelibolu, the bridge will span the Dardanelles strait, about 10 km (6.2 mi) south of the Sea of Marmara.

The hoisting frame construction of the bridge main steel girders is entrusted to Dorman Long Company.  INI Hydraulic designs and manufactures 16 units of key steel strand power winch, which are driven directly by 42,000 Nm hydraulic transmissions and are capable of lifting 49 ton loads, for the bridge deck erection gantries.

So far, construction of two 318m-high towers has been completed on the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge in Turkey.  INI Hydraulic has just shipped out the full order of hydraulic winches for the main steel girders constructing equipments – bridge deck erection gantries.  We hope that the bridge construction will go smoothly.  Further customer services or technical supports which are needed on the ongoing project will be delivered immediately.
